We should "unplug" you... Are you sure your mouse / tablet will survive all these photoshop experiments ?

Anyway, your work is amazing. Keep on showing us your creations.

You got some 'toShop feeling I'd like to have

Great work Timotheus

Especially like the frosty one, had been cool if you could make one with the name Spunky on it as I'm looking for a great one to put in my sig.

Thanks :) most of my Photoshop until now is done by hand. I got a tablet from my GF to try, but haven't really gotten used to it yet.

Great work Timotheus :)

Hope you like it :)

Looks like someone is enjoying plenty of creativity. Wonderful sigs Timotheus. It's like a digital wardrobe for the four seasons.

That was actually exactly what I had in mind when I started. :(

Thanks  and actually, I am.

But these were quite simple to make.

Tutorial

1. Create a new image.

2. Get a background picture loaded into the new image.

3. Create a new layer.

3.b Get a picture which has some kind of 'texture' in it, I used a picture of some clouds.

3.c Create a new layer.

4. Use the Elliptical Marquee tool to create a marked ellipse.

5. Use the Paint Bucket tool to fill the marked ellipse.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until satisfaction. Keep in mind that you can also rightclick and choose Select Inverse to be able to color outside of the area you just marked off with the Elliptical Marquee tool.

6.b In the Layers window, select the layer with the textured picture and select the layer with the black filler, rightclick and choose "Merge Layers".

7. Select the top layer, and select 'Screen' in the area just below the tab that says "Layers".

8. Adjust the opacity as well, if you think you need to.

9. When you're done, select the two layers and again rightclick and choose "Merge Layers".

10. Next up is the border. It's actually optional, but I found it needed a border. Press Ctrl+A, and go to Edit>Stroke. Select the width in pixels it needs to be to your taste. Next, select a color, and press OK. Repeat if you want to add more borders, I used two. remember to always make the "inner border" first: I used a 5 pixel white border first, and then threw on a 1 pixel black one.

11. Use the Horizontal Type tool to create your text, and move it to the area you want it. Keep in mind that using the mouse, moving around the edges is very hard, just use the "Move" tool to select it, and use the arrows on your keyboard to navigate the text to the place you want it.

12. Save your project as a JP(E)G and you're done!

This tutarial was written using Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Steps marked with .b or .c are entirely optional, but I included them because those are steps I used in the creation of my signatures.
