Knuckles 904
Typing= 200 WPM, Accuracy= 0.1 % or Typing 20 WPM, accuracy maybe 80% I type with both hands but only one finger on each. Plus they're big. That the backspace button is the most used on my keyboard is all you really need to know I just tried it and kept getting errors no matter what I did. Had to type 'astronaut' and when I tried hitting space or enter or even just typing them over and over with no separation I got errors (and it was definitely spelled right, even tried capitalizing it) Link to comment
FrostElfGuard 9
55 gross wpm 47 wpm with 85% accuracy. That test is hard! Link to comment

I chose Tigers in the wild Link to comment
gogoblender 3,068
I'll spit out my speed...I can ding 94 wpm if I'm in a good mood. I used to work for a deaf translation service for California, and we all had to have our speeds tested every three months. Min needed was 60 wpm. Okay... who's next here...come on in and type! gogo Link to comment
stubbie 21
95% accurarcy ( ) 25 wpm That's why whenever you see me post a long response, you know I have given up a good chunk of my life to type it. Link to comment

essjayehm 58
46 WPM gross speed 3 errors for 93% accuracy Net speed 43 WPM.... above average, which is 2-finger typing if my results are a good indication. Heh... I think of the 1 min. test, I spent 10 seconds backspacing and correcting words. My "actual" accuracy should be about 50-60% because I mis-type every other word (but can backspace like a FIEND 8) Link to comment
gogoblender 3,068
Agreed. lol, the beauty of backspacing.. the modern day miracle, rip winkle with words... now on forums, one day the world? Wonders gogo Link to comment
Zinsho 0
91 WPM and 100% Accuracy on Wizard of Oz. I'll try astronauts, it's actually a good test as far as typing non-standard things (such as when in another language etc when just copying) 80 WPM and 100% Accuracy, take away backspace and it'd be probably 90ish accuracy and higher wpm. I guess that explains why I can get long winded so easily. Link to comment
Scrappy McSlap 6
Took a shot at the "Astronaut" one... WPM: 54 (272 chars) in 1:00 min. Accuracy 83% 9 errors deducted 45 Words Per Minute after error deductions This is on my first attempt... meh. Gonna try again. Ran it again, this time on a 3 minute timer (probably a bit better for figuring out an average), and did much better: WPM: 59 in 3:00 min. (885 chars) Accuracy 95% (8 errors) 56 Words Per Minute after error deductions Much more consistent there. Pretty tough material though! Wouldn't want to have to type up that stuff all day.... Neat little test though. Might have to use that for practice more often. Edited April 21, 2010 by Scrappy McSlap Link to comment
JaguarGal 0
Ooooh, exciting~ o3o Dang, gogo, you're speedy! I got 67 WPM, 100% Acc. in 1 minute, with the laptop on my lap. I feel like I can actually type way faster (but maybe that's only when it's from my head, heh). Fun test >3< Link to comment
Bondbug 32
One attempt only. Bad for the old blood pressure. 28WPM, 100% accuracy. Dead normal. I did Aesop. Could probably improve now I know what is coming, but not enough to go again. I used to reckon on 35WPM. with at least 4 fingers. Link to comment
