We've had supporting membership badges going out for a number of members from our forum just recently that we'd like to thank personally in this topic. Claudius essjayehm Slyborg Thank you for purchasing our Supporting Member badges for the DarkMatters and SacredWiki sites! The new module we have purchased for Sacred 2 Downloads has been enormously successful with the backup we're getting from our new semi-dedicated hosting from MDD Hosting. The contributions and support really do help with us being able to keep up with our hosting, url domain re-registrations and software renewals. With interest as good as it is here, on such a very small game with such an amazing support community, we hope to keep adding new ideas to make DarkMatters and it's Wiki the biggest Sacred Fansite in the world. The last one, Sacred 2 Downloads has turned out pretty well, with over 6500 downloads in place and still going strong... Just yesterday was our day for renewal of the server costs for the sites, and we've been lucky enough to have a great hoster now at MDD Hosting for a few years. From little days with a teeny shared account over from IPB hosting, to Booyah, to the present digs, we've had happy bandwidth, and with Schot always finding ways and staying on top of keeping our hard drive space down, we feel that SacredWiki has become one of the premiere game wiki's in the world, and on top of it all, is an independence Wiki... no Wikia for us! We've had to switch to intermediate semi - dedicated hosting a few years back, as the thousands of pictures on the Wiki plus the ever growing database was straining resources, and with so many committed members helping out tirelessly, it's important that we feel that everyone has a fair work space to create in. On top of having quite possibly the most generous members to figger out and write beautiful guides and stay the path with us for years now (On forever! ) we've also been blessed with very VERY generous contributors, or as we call them, Supporting members. The supporting members badge is our grateful thank you to those in the community that have made a spot for DarkMatters and SacredWiki via our PayPal button, and we are always very happy and just thrilled that people can still put up with us, and in fact, seem to like what's happening. One of our most generous benefactors, Knuckles, has always astonished us with the generosity of his heart, his time (heck, there's a few thousand pages to his name on the Wiki ^) and... yes, we gotta say it, his pocket book. Knuckles has completely paid off all our server costs for this year for SacredWiki and DarkMatters. In fact, this year his support was so generous, it's going to go beyond server cost and help chip in for the renewal of our IPB license, which we've been waiting to renew, but will do this year to get the updated software. We're still flustered with the tift, and in fact, it's probably why it took till this morning to write a decent thank you letter. Thank you Rob (KNuckles! ) Looks like we're going to have another great year here with everyone. We also want to thank everyone that seems to keep coming up to us to ask about supporting member badge status. We are grateful for everyone one of your, and we promise to keep putting up as much spam and examples of Schot's legacy to sacred slavery as much as possible Here we go guys, another year Thank you gogo p.s.
