Master of the hunt quest. Bugged?

I heard that the master of the hunt quest in the orc lands gave a legendary amulet reward so I tried it. But, after the 3rd quest in the chain it seems to dead end. The quest text says I should go see the master hunter in the orc capital of Grurag-orc but I have no clue which city is the capital. I tried Zu'Zuruik where you see the clan leader to get the Octagolamus quest but there is no master hunter there. I also tried Sloptok but no luck there either. Has anyone completed this quest?

Hmm. Just checked Ruka. No Master Hunter. No npcs with labels at all.

I remember him being on the other side of the river from Entraug. just after you cross the river. he challenges you to enter a cave full of beasts to recover his treasure. the cave always tripped me up. as you get false circles on your map. but I believe its the grotto just north or west of Ruka by the river. its been a long time since I ran that quest as it doesn't appear on Closed net only SP PC and console.

Oh I forgot about that. Shadow is Ruka, and light is Entraug. But the cave will be the same.

That got it thanks. No legendary, but a nice unique anyway. Hunting Amulet. Dex 15 ranged 7 on platinum.

The cave (mistakenly marked how it is on map) is the same but the start locations also vary. In dark, the start is just before you reach the Blade Fields, yet in dark it is up near the trolls.

 

Quests not linking up is a fun new bug making some quests improbable to do unless you have done them all before.

in hindsight, I realise you are talking about the right quest, there are just 2 in vicinity that sound the same.

And "near the trolls" may be a little miss leading as I think of "near the trolls" as the hill east on entraug. " troll hill" as I call it. where the quest starts at the south end of the orc lands. where there are some trolls also, but not as many. you are asked to kill 10 of 3 different types on animals before going to see the Master hunter.
