Second - You won't screw anyone else progress, every character has its own progress, if you play together from start, that just so happens to be identical, until one of the players plays on solo. Then it's different

Third - I think there is maybe 1 dragon or something, not even sure about that.

Actually you can visit Xmas island, but it is not "THE" Xmas quest. Go to Artamarks Gate in the northern human territory. At the docks there is a quest giver that will send you to the island for a chain quest. it is still very cool, just no Santa Ogre.
