What kind of Two - Handed weapon is most crushing?

Hi!

I'm going to made a 2h warrior and I have a few questions.

 

1. 2h weapon is a good choise ? I heard sword + shield could be better.

2. What kind of 2h weapon is most crushing? ;]

3. Is the Frenzied Rampage good with 2h weapon as good is if you carry duals?

Hello, Ryan. Here's how I see the things.

 

1. Yes, if you're just starting the game.

2. The 2-handed Sword and Polearm for everyone, and the Axe/Hammer for the SW. Get a Life Leech % weapon and watch the bosses go down quickly.

3. Yes, if you hunt bosses. Duals are better for advanced characters and for normal hunting.

I REALY like using demonic blow with a 2 handed hammer.. reminds me of my dwarf with his huge hammer;/

 

I would suggest vehmence poisoning and life leech.

 

Oh and hafted is I think the funner of the weapons for a sw.

The best part of the SW 2 handed halved is the world shaking when you crit!

 

 

 

(this may be the effect on all 2 handers, but I haven't tried the others.)

Is using Polearms with a SW sub-optimal then?

 

I was trying out some weapons on a new SW and it seemed that Polearms have a faster animation than two-handed Hafted Weapons and got more hits from Frenzied Rampage. Could just be an impression, though

Is better put 50/50 str & dex, or str/dex/vit, or pure str?

I go with Strength and Vitality for mine but might switch to Dexterity since its Defense and u still get some attack in there aswell. So I would say Strength and Dexterity..since constititution gives good hitpoints if u plan on going with that...

Given the lack of shield for def, go with dex and str.

 

Using the Guidon in a boss fight is nasty. The def bonus gives you that extra edge. In addition to the life leaching wep, make sure you have as much +attack speed too.
