Game widescreen problems

I'm having trouble with Hitman: Contracts

The game does not support widescreen resolution, and I have a widescreen monitor.

 

I know I should ask the guys over at the official Hitman-forum, and I have.

They don't answer me at all..

The main problem is this:

 

I need the game to be in 1366 x 768, which is my monitors native resolution.

The only way to do this, is to change the .ini file in the Hitman directory.

I did this, but when I started the game it was still strecthed out of aspect, meaning everything was much too flat.

I checked around google for some answers, and found a tool made specifically to eliminate this problem.

That didn't work either.

 

I was just wondering if any of you had an answer to this rather simple problem.

so you edited the .ini to look something like this then or.... ?

Antialias 0

Yes, I followed a widescreen-guide for Hitman Contracts on google, and did excactly that.

Still, dear agent 47 looks very flat.

Are you sure you have build 174 of the game as that seems to be a rather important fact.

Yes I did, and everything seems to be just in the right place for my game to work properly. But it doesn't.

The only problem is that it's still strecthed out of aspect. Everything else is okay.
