Sploops 0
I'm posting this for my husband who has a level 50 temple guardian, currently playing with my seraphim on silver. So this was his first character and we didn't read any forums or builds before we jumped in and started picking skills. Needless to say it's a little messed up, but we're not interested in re-rolling, please don't suggest that. At this point we're just trying to save the character so it's playable. Riding 1 (mistake #1) tactics lore 30 ranged weapons 14 (what?) Lost fusion lore 31 concentration 5 devout guardian focus 29 toughness 20 armor lore 26 Any advice on what to do next would be helpful. What two skills to get and maybe what he should aim to master at 75? Link to comment
Barristan 14
Heya, find a nice pistol and a full CC-10 set, and the ranged weaps is not that bad. A %Lifeleach shuriken is also fun For skills I would suggest - WEL (Warding Energy Lore) a great boost to shield energy. Make sure your E-shield absorbs alot, preferably 100% since you will skip Constitution. - Combat Discipline Try using Jolting in combo with Deathly Spears for bosses (defensive modded JT) Don't worry, aside from riding, this build can go a long way. essjayehm 58
I'll differ a little from what Barris said... except for Warding Energy Lore. I feel he'll definitley will want this (assuming, of course, he's using the T-Energy Shroud buff It's pretty much a "necessary" skill for a TG. I do not think Combat Discipline is really needed here. Assuming that he's mostly using Battle Extension, CD does not provide a very big damage boost to the weapon-based combat arts (Dedicated Blow or Battle Extension). The regeneration time boost is nice, but another skill stands out as "obvious" to me. For the second open skill... Lost Fusion Focus. You already have LF Lore, and the Focus will help with the combat arts from this aspect. Personally, I have little experience with the Fusion aspect, but the builds in the TG section by Valcaf are AWESOME and explain most of what is needed to know. The Mechanix X-E build is the one he should read for using those combat arts. Riding is not a big mistake, IMO. Concentration maybe isn't needed, but that's probably just me/IMO. Good luck, and Welcome to the forums! Link to comment
