Heavy snow is a delicacy in England .

So it's always nice to see it! Especially when it's school

WHOA ! I couldn't disagree more..............I hate the snow here in England, sorry.

 

It makes it hell to get to work. We are so unprepared for it, so when it hits, everything grinds to a halt. They still expect us to get into work though. I guess it's fine for the schools, as they all shut............but then, teachers don't need an excuse *cough*

 

Had some horrid journeys into work last winter, very frightning on some really snowed up roads. It was even worse on the late shift as when I was driving home, the snow would have frozen and any salt that was layed on the roads had well worn away by that time *sigh*

 

Whilst I appreciate that some lurve a bit of snow, I for one will be keeping everything crossed that the white stuff gives us a miss this winter.

I just saw this topic again. That was crazy winter we had last one, but the good thing is this year we don't have to shovel snow... we're freeeeeeeeeeee!
