lujate 578
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, so please move it to the appropriate forum, if necessary. When I enter http://darkmatters.org into the browser on my Droid, it takes me to the mobile version of the site. I like this feature, but I cannot find an option for "View New Content". In order to access that feature, I have to go to the full version of the site. I tried going to the full version and bookmarking the "View New Content" link. When I started a new browser window and hit that bookmark, it displayed a bunch of errors. Does anyone know how to access "View New Content" from the mobile site? TIA Link to comment
Schot 407
Great question lujate. I haven't had much time to explore the mobile skin much. No doubt it will adopt new functions this coming year but for now what you're asking for is certainly the most important function. Here's how to get that elusive function. Onthe main page of the forum in the mobile skin you'll see a very basic looking button at the top top right corner of the skin. It's got something like this on it; >>. If you press that it will show a menu of options; one of which is "New Content" abd my friend is the wonderful button you seek. There's also the Messenger and interestingly, a Status Updates link that seems to be semi exclusive to the Mobile skin. It looks as though it shows all the recent status updates that members put on their profiles. Fun to read through. Link to comment
lujate 578
Perfect! The mobile skin now has everything I think I would want. I already found the Search button, now with "New Content", I am content. I access this site mostly from my Droid, so this will be a great help. Link to comment

Schot 407
Wow, it's so cool to know that it's actually in use. I'll eventually make it more "our own" one day. Nothing fancy. Just colour changes and stuff like that. Link to comment
