Looking for Metal CX brushes

Schot

Recommended Posts

Hey there guys.

Can anyone help me out with this? I'm looking for all of Metal CX's brushes for photoshop. Specifically his fractal brushes. I'm in dire need because I used one of his fractal brush sets to build our forums skin. I've since lost them in a format I did a while ago... "Doh!"

I've been sifting through deviantart.com as well as google for all of his brushes but haven't found the set I used yet. /sad

If anyone has ideas as to how I might locate ALL his fractal brushes I'd be ever so grateful. A single download of all his brushes would be awesome but that would just be too easy I suppose.

Well I'm off to sift some more. Wish me luck! /unsure

argh...

Schot I know how much this must be killing you

And I know that the community (heh, as well as me :woot:) wants to keep you supplied with the tools that you personally find useful for your craft.

I'll actually see if I myself can hook up with friends from some other clans to see whether or not I can connect you on this.

Also...perhaps try this ad in the ogame section?

I know that a lot of young artists start off use a large assortment of different tools at different stages of a budding grafx career in their search to understand and use all of the different tools available to an artist.

And the ogame grafx area could be good for this.

Maybe someone there can help you out?

I''ll check out WNx and DA as well.

Cheers and good luck!

p.s. Careful with throwing that word noob around please.

Everyone knows and shares different things at different parts of their life. I like it when we try to help out members of our community when they have the courage and patience to post and share their questions/discussions.

Forums work really well when lots of people have lots of different questions and interested people have lots of different answers.

Discovery

Exploration

Compassion

Cheers!

Woot! Fooouund it! /woot

It wasn't Metal CX's brush set after all. Eh heh. He does make really awesome brushes tho. Turns out it is a set made by Mark-S. Have a look if you're curious. Superb brush set. The picture he posts doesn't do the brush set justice:

Mark-S; "Fractal Brushes" set.

I know there are some folks here who are at a beginner level like myself with photoshop. Download the brush set, put it in your "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop*version*\Presets\Brushes" folder and give the brushes a try. Really quite something!

Now I can continue my work on the skin. /lol

Oh god. I was typing away a response to you bhj. Had put something simple and when I scrolled down to push the submit button it was "Submit modified" instead. I thought it seemed out of the ordinary but went ahead and pushed it anyway and *poof* your message was gone and mine in its place, hahaha. So if you're wondering why the question mark image is gone from your post above... Now you know. lol.

Oh and here's my simple response to your question.

Although... I discovered yesterday that Grag Martin has written a few tutorials that I'm dieing to try. Greg Martin makes a lot of really awesome space backgrounds. Liiiike. Hmmmm.... The space background behind this post. :)

I'm gonna try my hand at one! Be nice to have our own custom background eh.
