gogoblender 3,068
We've always considered ourselves lucky when there's a member who we think has the energy, gaming knowledge and interest to to be able to help us with the moderation of the Darkmatters boards. In this case, we have not just one, but TWO! essjayehm comes to us from a primarily console background and has been seen in what must be thousands (no millions!) of discussions regarding builds and complex Sacred game mechanics while helping Sacred 2 console players all over the world come to bear with the enormous challenges (bugs? ) of our beloved game. His recent move to the PC platform was when we realized that he would be a shoo in as mod for both gaming platforms. Chattius has been with us for years now, his articles and ponderous explanations of the almost quantum mathematics of Sacred 2 are now nothing short of legendary, along with his predilection for writing well-referenced articles ranging from construction, agriculture and delicious cooking^^ These are two very strong members of the community who we're lucky enough to have join us today on the mod team, please help us welcome them to DarkMatters. Welcome! gogo Link to comment

wolfie2kX 528
Dare ya! gogo I'll pass as well. That looks like a Japanese curry. I find them to be kinda on the bland side - even when I ask the waitress to have the kitchen crank up the heat. Nah.. I'll go with a nice Thai curry. Red or Yellow or maybe even a Sour Yellow... With chicken or pork. And Thai Jasmine Rice. None of that plain white stuff. Link to comment
chattius 2,520
CURRY? We germans are more used to Currywurst: Currywurst mit Pommes rot/weiss - curry sausage with french fries - red(ketchup) and white(mayonanaise) If you have fast growing hungry kids: Currymeterwurst - Meterwurst is a Bratwurst 1 metre long formed as a spirale. My favourite is my Wällerplatt. Wäller is a slang name for the people from the german Westerwald-area. Platt has a double meaning; it is either a slang word for slang language or a slang word for plate. So Wellerplatt is either the local slang spoken in my area or a local recipe served on a plate. Currywurst a la Chattius - Wällerplatt There were some requiries to the Bratwurst when I created it. Our oldest had birthday (9 years ago) and among the kids she invited were some turkish. So I couldn't do a Bratwurst from wild boar as I usually do. So I was searching for something which kids would like, not including pork, but on the other side would be close to the normal local food. So instead I was doing my own Bratwurst: I was using very ripe Handkäse (local 1% fat sour milk cheese) and mixed small parts of it into the Brät (the meat mix you fill into the sausage). Bratwurst filled with cheese we call Käsebratwurst. Something like this, but with beef instead pork. The yellow part is cheese. Instead french fries we served fried skinned whole mini potatos (less fat, because of nearly round surface). The red/white was red cabbage and white cabbage(Sauerkraut). Like this: It is a not too fat recipe, has vitamins (cabbage), calcium (cheese), ... When she had her 7th birthday we were very short on money: house repairs , second kid, my wife just starting her own doctor rooms in village, ... So by showing how much time we put into her birthday party we didn't need this big birthday gifts. This is a very special recipe and takes half a day to do and is limited to very special situations. Sorry for all this babbling, but real life stroke yesterday and I am kinda typing to not think about it. Link to comment
