Dryad Ranged Weapon Limitations?

One of my Skills are Ranged Weapons, just 1 point there, but yet and still their are some weapons in the game that I can't use, in particular right now certain Types of Guns. As a ranged weapon specialist, why can't I use Guns, Blowguns I can, but other guns I can't. And it doesn't show anywhere that these particular guns are class specified, what am I missing here?

 

 

Who were these guns meant for if not for the Ranged Specialist of the game?

Dryads cannot use pistols. I think it conflicts with the "child of nature" thing she has got going.
