Hamachi troubles

Me and a friend are trying to get get sacred 2 to LAN with Hamachi(on windows 7 both computers), followed a guide to the letter save for the port forwarding because I was on a modem, I got the server to appear on my end but not on my friends, my hamachi network was originally classified as a home network but now it comes up as unidentified after trying to make a game.

 

any suggestions/ solutions?

I don't think that many people have had success with hamachi, we have however had a few people say that Tunngle works well for them.
