My next Project-An item editor

So, hey guys. Can anyone help me? perhaps someone from the CM patch team....If I make an editor that should create unique or set items or even legendaries. And add attributes to them and all that and then insert it into the blueprint.txt. What must my program be able to do and edit? which data does it need to read? and from where? Basicly I want to create an editor that lets me choose a model for a new item, give it attributes and decide if its part of a set or not.

Czevak asked me nearly a year ago if I could decipher the hash code used in items. The hash algorithm is known, but as nearly every hadh algorithm, it has data loss, several different text would have the same code. So if you have the code it is a nearly impossible job to get the original text. Link is to the thread at mantis. Perhaps czevak found more meanwhile.
