Epox in a screen dilema

I enden up going out to Elgiganten to look at monitors and saw the samsung posted above only thing I can say is it was ugly to look at, then wify had been out scooping around before me and found this monitor an lg saw it running some games trailers on it and WOW! is all I can say it also got 85/100 in a test and 4/5 starts and it looks so sexy. so what kinda adapter do I need here

Good to see you went looking before buying. :smart: And that you found a monitor you like! There's NO substitute for seeing a monitor in person. Other parts, eh.. You can get away with buying without seeing them. Looking at CPU isn't going to tell you much about it's performance. But a monitor is ALL about the visuals and the quality of the display.

yep good advice :) so know I just need to ordre the monitor and a dvi to hdmi adapter :D YAY!

You want to take a look at the DVI output first. It's possible that you don't have a male(it will have pins) DVI output. You want to make sure that the adapter connects correctly on both ends. In regards to adapters, it is possible to get bad ones so I'd find a place with the largest selection and then narrowing the field via user reviews or finding more information via Google searching.

Like DaveO said - Check it with a DVI-DVI cable. It may perform just fine without having to go thru the contortion and expense of getting an adapter. The monitor should come with one of those AND a standard VGA cable. Most monitors do.

So now I bought the LG screen and a dvi-d cable wrote so some supplies and got my answer so Friday when I get home from work new monitor for me yay!

Wow the LG2360 monitor is epic I tested some games to see if I.could spot any blue or white

pixel problems and could absolutely not finde a single one all stod out crystal clear I'm so glad I got this monitor :D

Sure will :) well I have electronic + insuriance so that the normal 2 year warrity is increased with 2 more years before the value of the screen goes down :)
