Please, I need help. I tried v150 and v140 and they still giving me only experience. No coins, no items...

I've been collecting all sets from all champion about 3 weeks more o less, with an empowered balance.txt. dropping and dropping items.

And now I'm playing with the original balance.txt but they dont drop a FECAL MATTER! D:

Have you tried backing up your save files, uninstalling everything, and then running the game on gold (try blank new PC) without the community patch to confirm that its the community patch that is giving you this problem?

I dont have sacred 2 gold. It's sacred 2 + I&B. Anyway the problem started when I enabled 150 with the original balance. My save files are from 150, not 140 :/

Well, it could be a mix of things.

Trying to reainstall everything might fix the problem. No guaranties, but its a start. At least you'll save everybody time on confirming that its 150 issue even on a fresh new install.

I unistall everything and reinstalling again. When I ran sacred 2 WITH 140!!!!, my 150 characters were here because I forgot to delete them. Anyway I used my 140CMP characters and the problems is persisting (maybe because I ran sacred 2 and the 150 characters were in the save game folder, "corrupting" the game)

 

Can you write all text from am original balance.txt? This way I'll be able to compare them.

Oh, I remember something. Whem I'm enabling or disabling patch, an error appears, talking about balance or drop.txt.

Nothing. The problem is persisting even with your balance and drop. I'm cursed T_T

 

What about making 2 copies of the game (one with 140 and one with 150)?

You could then compare and swap out files until you narrow down the problem. It will probably take you a week, but it's better than nothing.

I dont understand what are you asking me, sorry. The game should work without problems after the reinstallation. I tried 140 first and the problem is persisting.

1 Install game with CP140

2 Make a copy of the game folder

3 Install game with CP150

You now have 2 versions of the game (one with 140, one with 150)

 

4 Replace all the PAK folder in the 140 version of the game with the PAK folder in 150

5 Run 140 game – check if all is OK

 

6 Replace some 140 TXT files in "scripts" folder with files form the 150 (one by one, or by folder)

7 Run 140 game – check if all is OK

8 If all is OK, repeat step 6 until you replicate your problem.

9 Use step 6 to figure out which files create your problem

 

:excl: Be shore to backup the files you are replacing, just in case you need to revert them.

1.-I have original game and _I used revoke tool 2 days ago. I remember something like "you can't revoke license more than 2 times every 3 months"

2.-Does the empowered balance corrupts heroXsave and heroXstats? I mean, I want to use my 140 high elf (level 48) but what will happens if she's corrupted by that balance? Is that possible? Am I a paranoiac? xD

delete all game files

install Sacred

patch up to 1.43

install Ice&Blood

patch up to 2.65.2

install CM Patch 150

run game and enjoy! ;)

no starting of the game or the PC during installation

no Securom...

So...Must I delete all my characters? Can I keep them?

Locate the save game folder on disk C and just make a copy of it anywhere you want.

It should be in MyDocuments somewhere under "Ascaron Entertainment/Sacred 2". You are looking for "sacred2save" and "sacred2stats" files. If you don't find them, do a full disk search.

I know where they are ;) But my doubt is: I've played with these characters and the current problems. Imagine that I delete everything about sacred but my characters, and they are corrupted by that problem. Will they corrupt again the new reinstalled sacred? Maybe they are the problem, they may have corrupted stats or something and the drop and balance dont make the properly effect on them.

It could be perfect if I send you my high elf save and stats and you fight. And tell me if you win a lot of items or not.
