I for one am happy that they are communicating with the GW2 community about the problems. I expected problems but while irritating they are being addressed, thank heavens.

I just tried send mail to Chrona, but got the message "user not found" or something like that... he got the same message when trying to send me mail... so I guess it remains to be seen if the in-game mail is gonna be fully functional this weekend...

Were you both online at the same time? you cant send mail to anyone off-line, never could, and don't think they will make it so you can.

yeah we were both online, but the mail worked later. I think maybe it was off for just a moment there, or as Lujate suggested - it could be a US vs EU server thing...

Thank god they increased the wiki server capacity! I haven't been able to use it half of the time. And that party/guild thing seems to be fixed now.

And because Anet has (so far) so much professed integrity, I believe it when they say they will work hard to make/ensure the game is played a certain way.
