Guild Wars 2 - Scheduling Events

This new sub-forum is for scheduling organized events. For more impromptu get-togethers, use the Guild Wars 2-Time to Play thread.

 

  • Anyone can schedule an event
  • Each event should be given its own thread
  • Event announcement posts should try to follow the outline listed below

 


 

Title to include the name of the event (usually a dungeon name) and the date

 

Body to include

1. A description of the event (usually a dungeon name and difficulty).

2. Date & time (including time zone). Since we span so many time zones, if at all possible, use something like Event Time Announcer to create a link so everyone can see the time in their local time zone.

Example: 15 Sep 12, 11am CDT

3. Number of players and level required

4. [optional] Equipment or other requirements

5. [optional] Event leader, if different than OP

6. [optional] Guild funding if desired. Please list the amount and give an explanation. If it is approved through general consensus, I will make the withdrawal and mail it to the event leader.

 

Also include a rooster of who has signed up.

North america entered daylight saving time this morning, so european players are one hour closer to ours. We'll have to consider this for future events.
