Guild Wars 2 - Guild Missions right for FDM?

I must confess that these do not sound like something for FDM. To me, these missions sound like the large group "raid" content that some players have been calling for since beta. ANet has said that some of the missions can be completed by small guilds fielding 10-15 people. I cannot count the number of dungeon runs we have had to cancel because we could not get 5 people together. Not to mention the Influence cost to unlock the different mission types. The published costs would likely take us till the end of the year. Once the as-of-yet undisclosed additional costs are revealed, I am sure we would be into 2014.

 

On a personal note, none of them sound like something I would enjoy anyway.

Do you plan on starting a poll to see if some of the newest guild members could be interested by such missions?

Guild Rushes-85K

Guild Bounties-66.5K

Guild Treks-66.5K

Guild Puzzle-80K

 

Right now, we are sitting on 69K and earn about 22K per month.

I have to agree with lujate, I only see about 10 or so active members and most are not online at the same time. The Saturday runs have been a problem without PUGing, I believe that ANET tossed this in for the large guilds 50 + .

And I am as bad as the rest, during the week I am a non-entity since I am only on from about 1600 - 1730 CST, with a infrequent appearance after 1830. Weekends I can play must more but other members cannot have difficulty then.

I just wanted to let you kno I'm going to read up on this and contemplating what I think. But at first glance it doesnt seem like we are a large enough guild to participate

It seems to be designed for 6+ people at least.

The tier 1 Bounty missions require that you track down and kill two Legendary bosses within 15 minutes. That seems like a tall order for six players. The higher tiers have more bosses, but still the 15 minute limit.
