But then if the power was out, you couldn't use your electric coffee maker anyhow... So unless you've got one of those old school coffee pots you make coffee with on the stove - it's kind of moot. A lot of electric coffee grinders these days are battery powered also - so that's one less thing that you've got to be worried about - unless the batteries die... Link to comment
