smetia 1
Im playing on pc made a Source warden TG I was thinking of making him a higher level to use dmg lore and so but loosing my characters ona failing HDD left me with no bargrainer. Im level 50 now Its not alot levels but im feeling lazy I choosed Ench perception and the question Can the fool survive 130 level without warding energy lore so I can choose bargraining as last skill? These are my skills: http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/3923/op0o.jpg Edited July 23, 2013 by smetia Link to comment
wolfie2kX 528
ACK! First thing I'd recommend - back your stuff up! DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200! Get a cheap thumb drive and copy your saved games and other documents to it! Now then, The answer to your question - MAYBE. There are some things I see that you've got that I don't think I would have gone with and there are things that I see that are missing. For instance, I would have gone with at least Tactics Lore instead of Combat Discipline. I don't see you using Combos in your regular rotation. Wasted skill. IIRC, you need to choose at least one General skill and add in at least 5 points to it in order to open up Bargaining as it is a second tier skill (It's on the right side of the screen). My TGs all have both EP and Bargaining. The key information that we seem to be missing - your CA screen and how your skills stack up and what sort of strategy you use to take mobs, bosses and such down. If you can use Source Warden CAs only, then maybe you might last, but I'm not so sure those will do the trick alone. One thing I've learned about TGs - Dedicated Blow works great for taking down individual baddies in 1 shot, 2 shots for champions on average. And with a bit of Life Leech socketed as well as Regen per Hit (RpH), game play is smooth and trouble free. In order to go without the bonus of shields and such, you need to take your enemies down - QUICKLY! The faster you kill them, the less damage they have a chance to do to you. And that's generally ALWAYS a good thing. Link to comment

wolfie2kX 528
OK... Better question would be how well are you taking the baddies down? Are they dropping quickly enough for you to survive without spamming the space bar? Link to comment
essjayehm 58
I think missing Warding Energy Lore is not horrible, but it will definitely affect not only the strength of your shield, but the regen as well. WEL unlocks the handy bonuses on gear and (more importantly) socketables that pump up your shields. Modifying your gameplay (taking on less mobs at a time, waiting longer for shield regen, etc) can probably compensate for this in most circumstances... so I don't think you bork a shield toon without WEL. If im not farming marsh area 2 potion on a bunch of mobs that will give me 50-100 k experience if I go human areas I start pyling up light healing potion have been using battle aura as def buff and untoucheble force moded with :Mind control-Calm-Cumble.That makes me use potion is poison wich doesnt take consideration on tehnoloogical shields . I dont mind use 3 or even 4 potion on big bunch of monsters I gest want to reach level 130 fairly quickly and have a shopper for my characters. Link to comment
Aegis 256
My thoughts on this, even with an offense that slices and dices and makes all kinds of julienne stuff, be it turtle, elves, bears, boars, humans, demons, etc, (in the case of the TG, it's less julienne and more tenderized demon steak), there's ALWAYS someone who breaks through your offence and lands that lucky hit. My duel wield and bfg seraphim's have died from high offence yet weak defence as a result. So, you might be able to bring your TG to level 130 and live, but looking at the skills and seeing that your main offence will come from the source warden aspect, I think he might struggle at those higher levels. I see him doing plenty of running if he goes in without WEL. My .05¢, since we no longer have pennies... Link to comment

claudius 104
Bargaining is very powerful if you can be frugal and manage the money. It's one of the best skills. Link to comment
