Popular Post Flix 5,116
I'm ready to give it a shot. But I've still yet to finish DAII! I played through Origins 5 or 6 times and through Awakening once (always meant to play the expansion campaign more, but I lost all my Origins characters in a tragic incident). But Dragon Age II bored me a bit. There's nothing that kills my interest in a good game more than sticking me in a city that I can't get out of. I got bored with Baldur's Gate I once I got to the namesake city, and again in the beginning of Baldur's Gate II with the interminable Akthala. The expansion for Divinity II, a brilliant game with roaming and flying, bogged down cause it was all set in a single city. Heck, I'm even sick of Thylysium by the time I've done a few quests. Got to have my open wilderness. It's a testament to how compelling The Witcher's story is that I didn't mind two full chapters taking place in the same city. But Dragon Age II's Kirkwall didn't draw me in the same way, and I'm not too thrilled to have the third installment yet again set in a city (much less Orlais - I want the frozen north of the Anderfells!) 2 Link to comment
CoolColJ 87
Looks pretty good! Can do both real time, and pauseable planned battles. With Skyrim like open world Edited July 15, 2014 by CoolColJ 1 Link to comment
Tergen 0
DA:I is like comparing Rubbing alcohol to Vodka. DA:I actually can be compared to Skyrim more than anything else. The world is fricken huge and immersive. Look at all the vids before hemming and hawing over it. I've preordered this baby Link to comment

Popular Post Ironwill 135
I am hooked to this game for 2 weeks, side quest maps are very large and the game is very challenging, maybe because I play on hard.I reached 90 hours of gameplay and the game doesn't feel like it is going to end.Bit a different from previous two games but I think DA3 is slightly better than origins. This game definitely deserves at least 9 out of 10 and every rpg players should try this 2 Link to comment
SX255 630
That's all nice and good, but can you be a werewolf in this game? And I don't mean shapeshifter mod where your form is automatically deactivated at the start of the cutscenes 90% of the time. That's the point of fun with the shapeshifter mage class - "Don't worry everybody, the bear is here, he will save us." "Swarm of bees, you have besmirched my honor. I challenge you to a duel." Otherwise, the fun of being a shapeshifter is lost yet again. 1 Link to comment
Ironwill 135
There is no shapeshifting in Inquisition. There are only single specialization to choose. There even has a long quest to unlock it for main character. Mages can become Rift Mage,Necromancer and Knight Enchanter The game uses elements from first and second game but went into a different route.Rogue/Tempest class has an ability named Lightning Flash to gain the speed of light. When not controlling the character it looks like super super fast outside, when you take the control of the character and use it everything becomes the same as Quicksilver's point of view from X-Men Days of the Future Past. I don't know about the fun but Warrior's Champion class lasts longer than any bear.Having 8 seconds active invulnerability and another 5 seconds passive invulnerability 1 Link to comment

Ironwill 135
Will people who pay to get that extra edge online? · First and foremost, our goal is to make a fun dungeon-crawling experience that you can play with your friends. There will be no pay walls in Dragon Age multiplayer. Everything is accessible with gold coins. You can use premium currency, but you don't have to. Sounds like a sinking boat to me Link to comment
