Fyos 0
Hey everybody. I'm a new poster, but I've been browsing these forums for years. I played a dwarf in Sacred UW and loved every minute of it. Raised a few dudes on Sacred 2, but never committed enough to enjoy that sweet, sweet Niob. Hoping to change that I recently got back into Sacred 2 (for like the third time!) and I have a few questions that I'd like to post up and see if anyone has any insight in: 1. I'm using Awe for my first mod of Runes of Protection (Added Stun). From what I can independently test, the stun length is about 2 seconds. What are the general prospects for that in later difficulties? What I mean to say is will there be some general widespread stun resist in Niob? Do bosses have some kind of baseline stun resist? Do enemies with stun resist become -more- stun resistant as their difficulty/levels increase? 2. As I've been investing points into familiar (it's level 15ish) my int has skyrocketed. While this is awesome, I've been noticing some really weird activity with the level scaling for Gust of Wind. I'd be inclined to think that after all the scaling that post-buff GoW would show a huge increase, yet as the pics below show it doesn't. Is this normal? Is there any kind of explanation for this behavior? [fig 1: familiar buff on. leveling up only gives a single point increase to damage] [fig 2: with familiar off, the same level yields a nine point increase in damage! What gives?!?!] Thank you for any responses, and being a surprisingly active community after all these years! Edited December 22, 2013 by Fyos Link to comment
chattius 2,526
Welcome to darkmatters, just seeing its your first post. The damage shown at an increase in ca-level at the dragon mage is a bit strange if the companion is turned on. There was a thread in the german sacred forum which even reported a decrease in damage when raising a ca-level. the thread http://forum.sacred2.de/showthread.php?t=69367 A screenshot with a decrease in gust of wind. http://forum.sacred2.de/attachment.php?attachmentid=43280&d=1257445876 My own not varified idea: The addon brought a change how damage is affected from stat points. I think the damage shown for a increase in ca-level uses the old routine. I noticed at my characters that the shown values increase after a time again. So it isabug, but in myopinion just a display bug, because the damage seen when fighting didn't drop. --- For the stun: I think at higher levels beasts have higher stun resistance. Link to comment
