Quasimodo - Easter Egg?

Recommended Posts

At the german version of the Orpheus quest is a statue which reads :

Der Glöckner von Tränenbach. Mann, hab ich's im Kreuz

The belll-ringer of Teardrop. Boy, I got something at my back

Quasimodo-Der Gllöckner von Notre Dame is the german title of the book. Glöckner translates as bell-ringer. Orpheus in the Underworld is an operette based on the greek saga.

Is there something poiting to Quasimodo in the english version too?

The same Statue at another place has soccer eastereggs.

English version of this inscription says: "A will is a dead giveaway."

Russian version means "Making a last will means that you give all your goods away for free. But no sooner than you are dead." which I take as an attempt to translate the english version.

Spanish version is "La voluntad lo dice todo." which also seems to be a take on the english one.

So, quite probably we have an Easter Egg that was lost in translation because the translators did not get its meaning.
