CapnTucker 29
Too bad they felt they had to go the middleman route. They should have taken a page from Crate Entertainment's playbook with Grim Dawn. They were able to release a playable version of their game with only Kickstarter funds, and continue development with just Steam early access and Humble bundle sales. The game still isn't finished, but 2/3rds of it is now available, with a release candidate probably by fall of this year. Link to comment
bhav 28
It's sad that this game didn't get enough funding. Sacred 1 & 2 were my favourite ARPGs. Diablo 3 was too simple, path of exile too hard with stingy drops / stupid trade based economy. It's only Sacred 1 and 2 that I could fully play solo, with complex character design and loads of awesome loot. Edited March 9, 2016 by bhav 1 Link to comment
Dorimil 224
nobody knows at the moment. yes, crowd funding "failed", but maybe they got the money from a publisher...time will tell... 1 Link to comment
gogoblender 3,068
They actually returned all the money back, and I think they mentioned that they wanted to go at the game at their own pace as well? gogo 1 Link to comment
laharl9999 10
Any news on Unbended ?From what I read : – We’re currently in negotiations for a lasting funding for UNBENDED. So did they receive enough money to start making the game ? Have they started to make assets for the game (exept concept art and planning crafting ideas) ?What do we know so far ? Link to comment
