No change. I tried giving just the minions rank 0 and then also Radament as well.

As an experiment I gave him the Summon Baal Clone spell (adjusted factions to match).  Baal's Clone also attacked Radament.  I'm going reverse the scenario and see if the undead minions attack Baal.

Yes. They are all spellClass = "cSpellSpawnEnemy",

I just experimented by giving Baal the Undead Legion minions.  They did NOT attack him. They were allies.

There's one more thing I can think of right now.  I will change Radament to monstertype = 2, and make him a boss.

Even though he is more rightfully a miniboss, I used type 1 with most of the superunique enemies in early versions of D2F because the boss cam automatic zoom out made it too hard to see the (often normal-sized) enemies like Radament, Blood Raven, Countess, etc.  Now that's no longer the case with CM 1.60 as a base.  I may need to readjust the monstertypes if this theory pans out.

That was it.  That was the solution.  I had to make him a boss.  I don't know how or why that worked, but it did.

I know this is not your fault or anything but is there any way to increase the summoning pets aggro?Reason why I ask is.They are dumb/slow to react.This is a fault with sacred though.Reason why I ask is I am playing a druid which are a summoning/caster.I don't use shapshift.I am at the one story boss but I can't kill him cause my pets doesn't attack him.

There are three techniques you need to be aware of:

  • You can set your pets' aggro range by using the forward slash key " / " .  I like to keep the range wide.
  • You can toggle between "individual attack" and "group attack" modes by using the period key " . "  Group attack means all pets act as a team instead of seeking their own targets.
  • You can force pets to attack a specific target by pressing SHIFT + Left Click.

Keep in mind the keys I gave above are the defaults. You may want to check your key mapping in the options menu to be sure.

Minions with "hireling..." AI attack targets of opportunity within the area of engagement immediately and without fail. If they just stand, or wander around, then either:

1. They have a CA with a broken "SpellClass" assigned.

2. They have a CA for which they don't have the necessary animation class assigned in animation.txt.

3.  If they have a mage AI, they don't use normal attacks. The cooldowns of their CA's need to be balanced as to not to allow "dead zones" to occur.

The Druid's summons fit none of these three categories.  They are for all intents and purposes the SW's skeletons in animal form.  I play with them almost daily for the past month.  If they're not attacking a boss, the only reason I can think of is that they're distracted by other targets, or the player is staying at such great range from the boss that the pets aren't close enough to aggro. Either way they pets need to be directed by the player.

I fully intended to release v12 today, but I've fallen a bit behind schedule as I completely forgot about the French translation.  This is what remains on my to-do list:

  • Finish "Prison of Ice." It's almost complete, except for a final quest phase I'm trying to add on where you escort Anya back to Malah.  If I can't solve it, you may have to report back to Malah alone and trust Anya will make it back on her own.
  • Update French localization for v12.
  • Redo Superspawn patch.
  • Update ReadMe and documentation.
  • Repack loose mod files and package zip file for upload.
  • Update supplemental materials (boss/superunique map, quest rewards list).

All of that is only a day or two's work, except for the translation, which could take up to a week.  I'm going to tentatively push ahead the mod's release date to mid-October.  I will definitely have the mod released in October, because I will be moving at the end of the month and I want to have it all wrapped up by then.

It will be worth the wait, I promise.  The might be the biggest single update for the mod in the last 3 years!

I found an issue every time I save quit and back my character start over and ı got “error while saving” how can I restore it

I solved it I installed steam version yesterday but still have non steam saves I deleted those saves and I can save game now sorry for trouble 😂

Hello everyone ,

first of all, Flix , you´ve done an awesome job of modding my two beloved hack´n slay games together and create a whole new level! Thtas it, what sacred should´ve been..

But here I come to my problem, I can only enjoy it or a couple of minitues then it crashes. I used the "Enhanced Mods" before, but surely dont use them now. After it crashed I reinstalled the game and the Modenabler and followed your instruction .txt data step by step. Now it still crashes, but it show me an error message;

Error#: 1

Function: ParticleSystemManager::createSystem

Description: template not found´x_gen_missile3´.

File:.\Graphics\particle\particleSystemMgr.cpp

Line: 199

 

I hope you can help me..

Hello and thanks for trying the mod!  I believe that issue is caused by not having Community Patch 1.60 installed beforehand.  Diablo 2 Fallen requires it.  Can you confirm the patch is successfully installed?

Okay, Flix , ive tested 2 chars for about an houre and it didnt crash. Its so awesome!!.

I am really sorry for "wasting" your time, because if I would be cautious enough, I´d notice myself that cm-patch was missing. Anyways, thanks again - cant wait to re-explore Ancaria.

And to all the others with crashing problems, try to reinstall the game, dont let it cost your whole day.. ;)
