New Seraphim build...tips?

Hello everyone!

I'm planning a new Seraphim build.

Now I'm at level 25, and these are the current skill:

2-Tactics (maxed)

3- Exlalted Warrior Focus

5-DualWield

8-Armor Lore

12-Rev.Technology FOCUS

18-Concentration (1 point)

25-Warding Energy lore

Combat Arts:

Pelting Strikes (Thrust, Focus)

Dashing Alacrity (Sprout, Delay, Impatience)

Assailing Somersault (no mod for now)

Battle Stance (Premonition, Drill)

Warding Energy (Field Force, Field Force)

Archangel Wrath (No mods for now), just to have a ranged attack

Divine Protection (No mods for now ... but I will take Capacity and Boost)

Now ... seriously, I do not know whether to take CelestialMagic as a third aspect, because I have doubts.

I have some questions:

1 - I took WardingEnergyLore, and I intend to keep it high leveled. I also need Constitution or can I leave it? Keep in mind that I'm giving all points in Vitality.

2- If I take CelestialMagic aspect ... can really be useful in a DualWield build? My idea was to take CelestialFocus at level 35 and Celestial Lore at 50. What do you think?

3- If I take CelestialFocus and Lore, as a last skill what do you recommend? ReveredTechno Lore (to boost ArchangelWrath damage) or AncientMagic to boost celestial aspect?

Thanks in advance

Here's my take:

  1. I'd take Constitution.
  2. I don't really see the benefit to having Dual Wield in a caster build. No reason you can't do it though.
  3. I'd go Ancient Magic.

Well, it's not a pure-caster build, it's a hybrid one! I prefer DualWield instead of others weapon-skills 'cause dualwield means more socketing, and I have a wider arsenal. :)

Whathever, if I take CelestialLore and Focus...I have only a place for another skill....AncientMagic or Constitution? What do you think?

If your intent is to keep Warding Energy having a high impact, you need to add Revered Technology Focus to the build in my opinion. You get the most out of either energy shield, and you have two offensive options for monster groups(Archangel's Wrath and Flaring Nova). That leaves only two skills, so I'd pick Constitution and Ancient Magic.

I would go for toughness over constitution with a seraphim. The closer your damage mitigation is to 100% the better is the virtual constitution. And Seraphim are probably the class with the best damage mitigation possibilities.

X% life leech will pass damage mitigation, but less hitpoints is less damage in this case.

I did I mistake writing the skills...I already have RevTech Focus, not rev.lore. Post edited

So I planned the build like that:

2-Tactics lore

3-Ex.Warr focus

5-DualWield

8-Armor lore

12-RevTekFocus

18-Concntration

25-Ward.Energy Lore

35-Celestial Magic Focus

50-Celestial Magic Lore

65- I REALLY don't know...Constitution, Toughness, Ancient Magic or Rev.Tek Lore? Any suggestions?

The Celestial Magic skills do offer good healing benefit from Hallowed Restoration, but with an energy shield the benefit is not realized as much. Since you seem to want to go down the spell caster route, Ancient Magic adds in damage along with resistance reduction once mastered.

Rev tech lore controls archaengels wrath attack speed rather than your weapon lore (e.g. sword lore or dual wield lore). Not sure what effect of rev tech lore on the energy shield. temple guardians energy shield is boosted by tactics (more shield value).
