Flooxim 49
Today ArenaNet posted two blog posts about the Specialization system, which will bring MAJOR changes to Skills and Traits. Here are the links : Part 1: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/specializations-part-one-a-primer/ Part 2 : https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/specializations-part-two-reward-tracks-and-elite-specializations/ 1 Link to comment
AngelShade 53
This is going to be huge, my only problem will be gaining acces to the expansion, in a hope it wont cost me half of my monthly paycheck. 1 Link to comment
Flooxim 49
It looks like the trait system rework (aka regular specializations, not the elite ones) will not be part of Heart of Thorns. It will be released in the next update, according to this blog post : https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/come-home-to-lions-arch-in-the-next-update/ Oh and the new rebuilt Lion's Arch will be included in that update too. 1 Link to comment
lujate 572
I think they mentioned before that the trait rework would come out before HoT. That's probably easier for them. That way they can put it out and make corrections before releasing the expansion (which will likely have enough issues of its own). Link to comment
Flooxim 49
Major combat changes are in the way : https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/combat-changes-dotsanddashes/ this should be implemented with the specializations update. EDIT June 17 : Stacking condition cap has been increased to 1,500 (from 25). Burning can now be stacked too. Edited June 17, 2015 by Flooxim 1 Link to comment
