Veracious 267
How good does the wolf summon get at high levels? Is it end game viable? Link to comment
mibbs 29
What about wolf summon, at higher levels wolf usually has own level 50-100 higher than vampiress has. It causes an experience penalty to player. Link to comment
Veracious 267
So what would be the strategy for using it then? Keep the runes eaten at the same level as vamp? Eat less runes? Is there some way to balance it out? Edited May 21, 2015 by Veracious Link to comment
mibbs 29
Any summon level depends on char level and on eaten runes. When any summon reaches really powerful stage, it becomes "greater experiense eater" (so, you still get experience... 1 experience for any killed creature, ha)Don't invest too many runes, I can even say "dont invest more than 1 rune" to avoid problems in future. Summons can be perfect distractors, but they are useles as damage dealers, because they eat your experiense. http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred:Wolf_Call - nice notes Edited May 21, 2015 by mibbs 1 Link to comment
Popular Post Bezlonir 53
I've played a vamp to about 90. The wolf isn't that useful. Getting it strong enough to survive more than a few mobs will start to penalize your xp. If you put as many runes as possible into vampire trans and the raise dead spell (?), summons seem to become viable around level 70, when you have enough time to get an army together. Dragons still suck because your summons have no reistance. I couldn't hack the last leg of the expansion because of the uninterrupted mobs with that Area of Effect lifeleech. 2 Link to comment
