This shield has a very rare property which adds fire damage to the player's weapon in addition to providing armor.

Instructions:

Be sure to back up your existing chest.sacred2chest file before doing anything! Installing this file will overwrite your Shared tab in your player chest.

 

For XP, it's located in:

For Vista and Windows 7:

This shield is imbued with the essence of the Firebird, protecting the wearer from all forms of fire damage, granting preternatural health regeneration, and searing enemies who stray too close.

 

This was another brand-new item that was sitting unused in the game folder.

 

If you play my mod Diablo 2 Fallen or use Wardust's textures, this shield gets a little makeover via a nice shiny metal texture added.
