Ancient Magic instead of Tactics for Mechanix Omega-TX TG build?

Hey folks,

 

I was wondering since TGs now have access to Ancient Magic with community patch if I'd be better served using ancient magic instead of tactics lore since I believe tactics lore would only buff deathly spears and nothing else (battery maybe?).
