Popular Post Flix 5,116
D2F has its own page on SacredWiki now, and it will serve as a hub for all the D2F info I plan to put on the Wiki. Right now the page is an overview of the mod. There are also links to new pages I made for all the character classes. For example, you can see that the Amazon has a character page now. Although I haven't made pages for the individual combat arts yet, you may still find the character pages useful. This is the first time, outside of the game, that you can see the lists of skills each character can access, complete with the new icons and descriptions. I'll add pages for the new aspect skills and what they do as I make the combat art pages. Then I'll work on the new equipment and elite mounts, and finally I'll see about making a bestiary and any other miscellaneous things to catalogue. 4 Link to comment
gogoblender 3,069
These are scrumptious pages Flix, they look great in the wiki with your content and formatting! This powerful woman warrior belongs to nomadic bands who roam the islands in the Jade Sea. The wandering of these groups often brings them into conflict with other peoples, so the Amazon is accustomed to fighting to defend her own. The Amazon people are a relatively isolated culture. Adapting over the centuries to their tropical milieu, they have built magnificent cities in the forest canopy. While her skill with the bow rivals that of any other, the Amazon is also adept in the use of all other throwing weapons, as well as in hand to hand combat. The Amazon is much sought after as a mercenary, in which type of service she will be loyal as long as her own ends are also served. The PathsLight Path Introduction: "I shall purge this land of the Shadow. Let there be light!" Shadow Path Introduction: "I sense... great sorrow and misery. I hear foul creatures about. This just keeps getting better and better!" Amazon Starting AttributesBase starting attributes level 1, silver difficulty, no survival bonus, naked. Popular Post Flix 5,116
Amazon Combat Arts are done. Each of her 15 combat arts now has its own Wiki page with detailed info about it, as well as pictures and videos of them in action. This is the first time you'll be able to see a lot of this info outside of the game, such as all the modifications for each CA, what skills and attributes affect them, as well as some basic strategies on using them. So check out Poison Javelin, Charged Strike and all the rest. New aspect skills like Storm Combat Lore also have their own pages now too. Hope you enjoy, and find it useful! I especially enjoyed making the little videos. Reviewing all the modifications and spell properties also helped me make some tweaks to improve the next version. New D2F videos on SacredWiki's youtube channel support up to 1080p resolution: 2 Link to comment
gogoblender 3,069
It's awesome Flix...I've been following the videos as they have been coming out on YOutube... its a great combination of content and video ... great work! gogo 1 Link to comment

Popular Post Flix 5,116
Thanks. I wasn't sure it would be the worth the time spent on Wiki pages, but reviewing all the spells has resulted in some good changes for the next version. Druid Combat Arts are now complete. Aspect skill pages like Nature Summons Lore are also complete. 3 Link to comment
Flix 5,116
Slow going as Sacred isn't my main hobby anymore, but Necromancer Combat Arts are now finished! All your questions about his Curses, Dark Summons and more are now answered and documented. Couldn't get all of the videos in HD this time as my computer was slowing down too much for some reason. 1 Link to comment
Popular Post Flix 5,116
All of the characters on the D2F Wiki (to the extent that they are present) are now updated for BETA 7. This means Druid, Amazon, and Necromancer have all their combat arts updated with complete information. The other four characters have their character pages updated, and will eventually have all their combat arts filled in. This includes new videos for the revamped Druid shapeshifting forms: Between the info on the Wiki and the new Druid's Shapeshifting Guide you should have a good idea of how to handle these new forms. 2 Link to comment

Flix, this is awesome!!! I know it takes extra work to get it all documented, and I appreciate the time you're putting into this. The reference work you put together for the fans makes this akin to, heck no BETTER than most games that come out... Love this gogo 2 Link to comment

Popular Post Flix 5,116
The Barbarian's Combat Arts are now complete on SacredWiki. His aspect skills such as War Cries Lore are also complete. For weapon-based combat arts, I tried to document a variety of weapons being used with each CA. With Whirlwind's official video you can see some new upcoming improvements. Don't miss it! Overall this wiki-work has helped me with the development of the mod in addition to providing a reference for players. 5 Link to comment
Daniat 57
Amazing work on the mod, really, the content on the Wiki is the icing on the cake, but I dont a link to the mod anywhere on the Wiki 1 Link to comment

There are now two main entry points to Diablo 2 Fallen on the Wiki: Main Page - Top row, far right, is a button with a link to D2F. I replaced the defunct link to Sacred 3. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel - Under "Game Features - Starting Up" the 5th link is to Diablo 2 Fallen. You can also find it on the list of mods and modding guides on the Wiki's Sacred 2:Modding page, which is itself on the bottom right of the Fallen Angel page under the "References and Strategy Guides" section. When I get all the combat arts done I'm planning on making a trailer video. I've got the ok to put it on the Wiki's front page news section when it's done. I may also try to take a more active role in the Wiki's front page generally. Maybe rotating the "Featured Article" or "Featured Build" sections with fresh content. Not necessarily D2F content, just to feature some other Wiki pages. 3 Link to comment

Popular Post Flix 5,116
The Sorceress's Combat Arts are complete on SacredWiki! Her aspect skills like Lightning Spells Lore are also complete. You may not need to know all the nuts and bolts of Energy Shield to make good use of it, but all the info is there for the edification of those so inclined to learn all the in-depth details. Once again, creating these pages has forced me to methodically review the spells and tooltips, which helped me correct many small typos and inconsistencies for the next patch. 5 Link to comment

Popular Post Flix 5,116
The Paladin's Combat Arts are now complete on the Wiki! Her aspect skills like Blessed Defense Lore are also complete. It was very fun documenting how all the weapon-based CA's like Vengeance and Zeal behaved with different weapon types. I caught many typos and inconsistencies to correct with the Paladin's tooltips in the next patch. I even caught a bug! Holy Fire wasn't giving its Fire Damage +X% bonus. It's now corrected. 5 Link to comment

Popular Post Flix 5,116
The Gods of Diablo 2 Fallen are now added to the Wiki! All 6 gods have three pages: An overview of the god (for example Philios). A page for their entry in the "Lore of the Nephalem" in-game book series (for example). You may find reading the text on the Wiki is a more digestible format. And finally there is a page for their Divine Gift (for example Redemption). There are pictures and videos of these god spells in action. Feel free to weigh in on the god spells in their threads and let me know what you think! 2 Link to comment
Popular Post Flix 5,116
The List of New Quest Rewards of Diablo 2 Fallen is now posted on the Wiki! Some links are red because some quests and items still aren't on the Wiki, but this is a big improvement over the plain text document I've been distributing up til now. I hope to add more rewards for more chain quests in the future, to make them more rewarding. The hard part is finding the right quest phase in quest.txt! If anyone has any ideas for vanilla quests that could use special rewards feel free to post them. 2 Link to comment
Popular Post Flix 5,116
I'm preparing a Bestiary for Diablo 2 Fallen that will replace the somewhat haphazard Creatures Thread. Here's a prototype entry for a boss, The Grand Vizier of Chaos. This will serve as the template for the other monsters. I was torn between doing this and making a monsters video. The video would be more exciting but having actual info about the monsters is massively more useful for players. 2 Link to comment
Popular Post Flix 5,116
The first section of the first phase of the new bestiary is finished: There is now a Boss Bestiary page for Diablo 2 Fallen. Right now all the new bosses introduced in the mod are filled in. They have complete pages, with pictures, stats, descriptions of their special abilities, their location (and a map pic if I could find one on the Wiki), plus a link to the new D2F Boss and Superunique Map. You can also find links to the original monster's page (if applicable) on the Diablo Wiki. Andariel Baal Dark Seraphim Diablo Duriel Father Dagon Fury Broodmother Grand Vizier of Chaos Izual Kujin Mephisto Mother Hydra Nihlathak Sszark the Burning If you want to know all the info about these new monsters, from how they were inspired to how to beat them, you can't afford to miss these pages! Next to come are all the old mini-bosses that got redesigned in the mod and a list of all the Dragon bosses! 4 Link to comment
