How to patch Sacred 2 gold ?

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, I'm a french player of Sacred 2 since two years, I reinstall the gog version (gold + patch 2.65.1) after the death of my old hard drive (and the lost of almost all my characters T_T), and I can't apply the 2.65.2 patch or the CM patch, I receive a message "can't find sacred 2 installation"

I have desinstall/reinstall several times, but nothing change.

The game is a GOG version, in French language.

My laptop:

Windows 7 familial premium

Intel core i3 M380 2.53GHz

RAM 4Gb

Graphic card ATI Radeon HD 6370M

 

Somebody have a tip ?

And sorry for my bad english (it's not my native language)

Will the game itself (no patches) install and play ? If the game works but not after patching then might have wrong patch version. If game won't start even with no patches installed then that's a different prob

Also might try this...it's a utility that cleans up/removes some temp install files..did fix alot of crashing/installing patches issues

I just sucess to install the CM Patch !

That's fun, several time he said "Sacred 2 not found on your computer", and now it's work, but I have not change anything O_0

And just before install CM patch, he does'nt want to install 2.65.2. Enjoy !

I think I have find the problem: kaspersky antivirus.

It's vicious, this antivirus.

Version 2.65.2 fix only chat, not add nothing or fix something important. For Version GOG and Gold (Steam) don't work to patch but if want to play in tunngle you can connect on version 2.65.2 (If you have 2.65.1 and another player have 2.65.2)

I have find some old saves on dropbox, but I begin (again) a new Temple Guardian on evil path, the one I lost was level 60

But in some days, I' ll find the time to make him stronger than the first ^^
