Graitul 0
I just need a quick refresh on the formula for diminishing returns. The wiki states... Equipping four items totaling 121.4% (47.1+30.2+22.1+22.0) yields: Chance for deathblow 65.4% So that is 4 values that equate to a 65.4% chance, but how was that derived again? It's obviously not ($total / $value_count). Do I qube or square or... Link to comment
Androdion 880
Basic rule of thumb on diminishing returns (of any intended effect) is somewhat like "the higher the number of sources the lower the added bonus", as in the more items you get adding a percentual value the lowest they all sum up to because of diminishing returns. So to circumvent that you need to get individual items with higher percentual values to the effect you're after, hence looting items at higher difficulties to have better global bonuses. As for the specific formula I tried the "block chance%" once and I couldn't really nail it but you could take a look at it. Edited December 18, 2016 by Androdion 1 Link to comment
