Sacred 2 Gold Edition from Steam crashing when im turn on game

Hiho.

When im trying to turn on game, there's show a screen loading, but suddenly appears an error:

My PC:

Win 7

Intel I3-2100

Radeon HD6670

8 GB RAM

I remember that when im installed my DVD version 3 years ago, it worked. I cant do it now beacuse my CD/DVD drive is broken. Thanks.

Hello, try to deactivate PysX in the option.txt file usually located in C:\Users\<your account>\AppData\Local\Ascaron Entertainment\Sacred 2 (AppData is hidden by default), find the line detail_physx = and put 0 instead of 1 (hoping it's on 1 already), you should so have detail_physx = 0. Save and close the file and start game to see.

Alternatively you can read this post https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/933200-sacred-2-fallen-angel/47357848 , basically it says to update your video card drivers (important), update PhysX version (even if you are on an ati. I would recommand to install PhysX Legacy Driver http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-legacy-driver.html ).

I installed patch, DX9, Physx Legacy, and still not working. :/

Maybe I will redownload and reinstall the game? I verified a integrity of files against I write this topic, but when I redownload and reinstall the game all redists will reinstall.

(Yes, I can install redists from Sacred 2 folder but a PhysX is bugged, I think beacuse I have a AMD.)

If you dont have any ideas I will do that.

I actualized Video Card Drivers, added -nocpubinding -skipopenal, I runned this in WIN XP and as Admin but still not working. :/

@edit: I tried with -nocpubinding -skipopenal and wihout it.

Just here to Welcome you to DarkMatters, Refus...and hoping that the game gets going with you... course am also happy Desm's had some ideas... this game is a gem, but is famous for it's bugs and tribulations

If it still doesn't work, you can try the latest one => http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.16.0318-driver.html but first try the 9.12.063 as it seems to be the good ones to run Sacred 2 when having difficulties.

Whats the difference between Sacred 2 normal version and Ice & Blood version? I have this second but I ever played on this first.
