This was an epic battle would have the negative meaning: why did it take longer than the Trojan war to win and why your narrating is longer than Homer's illiad. You have to watch faces and listen to pronouncation to notice if it is ironic. Something an automated translator is really bad. Link to comment

Germany was choosing the Breguet Atlantic. Flew a few times with it when I had to learn its weapon systems as an airfield firefighter. Ugly beast, pilots often turned one engine down to save fuel. This way it could stay airborn for nearly a day when patrolling without needing a tanker plane. The plane was however best liked by Greenpeace.
