Wizard would translate as Hexenmeister. Which is either a male witch or a person who is able to master witches. In inquisition this was normally to kill witches with fire, drowning, ... Main reason to call someone a witch in Germany was that the church or people close to it wanted someones property or death.

spanish -> Equine herpesvirus

There was an international riding tournament last month in spain. Some horses got an infection of Equine herpesvirus. The outbreak was not known before tournament was over so the infection got wide spread.

Result was that my horses which were used to move trunks are in qurantine because nearest infection is below 10 miles away and I had to buy quickly a used forest tractor.

suffering -> sunshine -> Coup de Grace

If boars are suffering from injuries after a car crash (mainly at fog and no sunshine) it is best to kill them as quickly as possible without risking your own life. If shooting is not possible because of people standing around a Ger = boar spear is used.

The weapon was name-giver for the German. Franks had the Franziska throwing axe, the Saxons the one bladed sax, Germans the ger, ...

Modern Ger are a lot different, knife with a broad guard (to prevent an animal oving towards you), several carbon pipes which can be screwed on to turn the knife into a ger, or removing the knife and screwing a spike on the other end to have a walking stick, or you attach a saw unstead a the knife to have a long reach tree saw to cut away branches hindering the sight, or you mount a 'u'-shaped thing to lay your gun on for betteraiming, ....

We have still one stored in the barn. It was electric driven via a belt near the socket. In war times without electricity my grandpa changed it to drive the centrifuge via a bicycle. Smaller separators used a hand crank.

Good or bad: no heating, no pasteurizing. The bacteria in the milk are still there and could be used for some cheeses, joghurt, ...
