perfection -> perfect numbers

In number theory, a perfect number is a positive integer that is equal to the sum of its positive divisors, excluding the number itself. For instance, 6 has divisors 1, 2 and 3 (excluding itself), and 1 + 2 + 3 = 6, so 6 is a perfect number.

28 = 1+2+4+7+14 is the next

Only 51 such numbers are found by now. It is a very old but unsolved problem if there are infinite such numbers.

pure evil -> Graf Orlok

Count Orlok was the evil in the silent movie Nosferatu (1922). If I calculate right 2022 it are 100 years since the first horror movie.

unit -> demobilised

I was at a naval air wing - weapon and system officer in a sea-patrol plane. We brought 'fear' to the shipping: a side effect of our patrols was that we easily could spot ships releasing waste oil into the sea. We were probably the only unit in germany which made Greenpeace happy. Then I was at staff on ground, then specialist firefighter for bombs and mines,... and then the airwing got demobilised because of reunion. Then studied maths and now I use both (math and explosives training) at explosive welding. Got the job because noone else had such a crazy qualification.
