Giving carte blanche to my daughter...

Recommended Posts

Sad to see that some people don't want to understand one simple thing: We're always better off together.

On the other hand, it's just a few years. Also, she has some free time to go visit Rome or Paris now.

Indeed, yet what is even sadder is seeing people make such a huge mistake, knowing that they have no true understanding of it and are therefore unlikely to learn any lesson from their folly. You and your daughter did what was noble and right in such a difficult situation, yet there must be little solace where there is an ending in which everyone loses.

Update:

The trip would be close to Ravenna in Italy per bus. Hotel to Ravenna will be 8 kilometres. So we used the winter breaks to discuss the option to load her bicycle into the bus so she can do trips to Ravenna when the rest prefers the beach. Her body parts where skin grafting was done don't allow too much direct sun, so a few early mornings or camp fires at the evening should be fine for health and class harmony.

Next problem is that she isn't 18 because she jumped a class...
