Possible to use XBox Controller for Sacred 2?

So I have Sacred 2 for my PC but I was wondering if there is a way to be able to use an XBox controller wired in? Using the keyboard is not near as fun for me lol

You can use 3rd party software to map your controller to keyboard functions, but it will never be like a real controller game.  For example, rather than up/ down/ left/ right on the thumb stick,  you get forward/ back pedal/ camera left/ camera right.
