New Forum Features

Well in the persuit of a better, feature rich forum I came across news of the next upgrade for our forum software which will be v2.2. If any of you would like to get an idea as to what is in store for us then have a look at invisionpower.com. Not sure of all of the features yet but what I did see, and like very much, is that when you click on a members name when reading a thread you will get a drop down list of options. Have a look at a profile of one of the members there as well. LOTS of new features there!

 

I'm told by our provider that v2.2 should be released in a bout 2 months. New toys, yay!

Its cool the way ipb software is gonna go...it's almost like ipb with some touches of vbulletin software which is much more widely known that ipb

Vbulletin has been pretty much the ipso facto standard of forum software with ipb being the new upstart.

With this new software it'll be amazing how, like at the SAcred INternational Forum, you can access a person's posts or topics and get a "feel" of what they're like or what they've published
