This build is suitable for either a player or a Hero elementalist. It is more suited for missions and questing. It can be used as a player versus player build if your team makes use of hexes and conditions. Nightfall has introduced new cross element synergies and this build takes advantage of that fact.

1. Mark of Rodgort. For 10-35 seconds, whenever target foe is struck for fire damage, that foe and all adjacent is set on fire for 1-4 seconds. (15 energy) (1 cast) (5 recast) This is a highly effective spell for causing continuous burning on foes. As long as the hex is on a target any fire damage will cause the target to burn (even from a Fire wand, or a Flaming sword, etc...)

 

2. Fireball. Send out a ball of fire that strikes target foe and all adjacent foes for 7-112 fire damage. (10 energy) (2 cast) (7 recast). Mainstay damage spell useful on a single foe or a group. It shares the same radius effect as Mark, so it is typical to chain cast this right after Mark.

 

3. Glowing Gaze. Target foe takes 5-41 fire damage. If that foe is on Fire, you gain 1-7 Energy. This is a new Nightfall skill, it works in synergy with Mark and Buring to not only do damage to foes, but also gain energy in the process.

 

4. Blurred Vision. For 8-20 seconds, target foe and adjacent foes are hexed with Blurred Vision. While hexed, those foes have a 50% chance to miss with attacks. (15 energy) (1 cast) (20 recast) This is a nice defensive skill to happer enemy attacks..it also works as an additional hex for foes to contend with. The Hero AI uses this better than it was Wards.

 

5. Steam. If target foe is on fire, Steam Blinds that foe for 5-9 seconds and strikes for 20-68 cold damage. Otherwise, that foe is struck for 10-54 cold damage. (5 energy) (1 cast) (8 recast). New Nightfall spell that also works in synergy with Mark and Burning doing damage and blinding the target...even if the target is not burning it will still suffer damage.

 

6. Fire Attunement. For 36-60 seconds, you are attuned to Fire. You gain 1 Energy plus 30% of base the Energy cost of the skill whenever you use Fire Magic. (10 energy) (2 cast) (45 recast) It is to help with maintaining energy, it option and can be replaced with another suitable skill, perhaps Aura of Restoration for self healing.

 

7. Energy Boon. You gain 10-18 energy. Energy Boon causes exhaustion. This is an elite skill. (5 energy) (1 cast) (15 recast). Used as energy management, can be replaced with elite energy management of choice.

 

8. Resurrection Chant. Resurrect target party member with up to your current health and 5-29% energy. This spell has half the normal range. (10 energy) (8 cast) (None) This is an excellent in-combat resurrection spell since the ally return at full health, it can be replaced with another suitable resurrection skill.
