I was hanging out after the 03:00 a.m. server reset and wondering if I could find anyone interesting online, or, better yet, offline. I recalled Urkhai hitting Kat a month or so ago when Urkhai had his fleet three SS from my G1 moons, and then recently a ninja by Kat. So I thought I'd take a look. No activity on the main, so I sent probes to the moon and saw the lovely fleet below and lots of res to boot. Unfortunately -- 'cause there always has to be a problem -- my fleet was in G5 with my recs and I had just used my G5 JG 30 minutes earlier to send some transports to G3. So I checked to see if my friend was around (3 systems from Kat) and there had been activity on his main since the reset so I sent him the espionage report and told him about the lack of activity. It was now ~03:30 server time and I have another 20 minutes until I could use my gate. I got no reply from my friend and it appears that the activity stopped around the time I sent my note. In the meantime, I SIMed Kat's fleet and determined that BSs were in order. Quick and low losses. I could have minimized my losses a bit more by sending the rest of the heavies but I was very concerned about time. When my JG recharged I sent my fleet and recs through and below are the results. Kat sent a note about 20 minutes after the hit: thanks. I appreciate it. I spent all that time rebuilding my fleet. I just got home from the hospital and I find this. I guess I should have endangered my life more and taken the time to fleetsave before I left. Hope it was well worth it for you. So I sent back all the debris and profit and sent her a heartfelt apology.
