it was strange winter here - it was worm all the time, just we few some weeks in december and few weekends in february, when it was cold ( very cold I meen) and not too much snow (its almost all gone :) )

*whips up some hot tea and muffins*

 

We still haven't got this forecasted snow yet :( Hoping it'll come at the weekend...then it'll be building snowmen, snowball fights and running back inside to get warm ;) So far it's been very cold but beautiful and bright..lol...I'm just happy it's not dark when I get up now...and extra light is good. I was starting to feel like a sloth with the greyness ;)

Oh yum I love scones (do you guys call them that?) with jam and cream!

 

Never heard of clotted cream but it sounds great and very fattening ;)

No, cream is something else (well, it might be). There's lots of different types of cream...

 

Clotted cream is almost thick enough to actually build with.

p.s. horlicks is this really yummy malted milk stuff my parents used to give to me instead of hot chocolate...but all the other kids got hot chocolate...*sigh* :P

hmmm...well it's very bitter...but that bitterness is a wonderful accompaniment on buttered toast or fried egg sandwiches!
