Communtiy Patch breaks my game

So I installed the community patch for sacred 2 gold, and after installing my game crashes during loading. Tried running in all compability modes, but nothing works. Also have -skipopenal -nocpubinding in launch options on steam. Game starts up without problems when I do a fresh install. During loading the game minimizes and closes it self after 10 seconds. Any help or tips is appreciated

Have you started the game before installing the patch? The game needs to run for the first time and only then should you install the patch.
