How do you spell "Cheater?"

I was chatting with Beowulf a couple of hours ago and he had gotten a phalanx on Karpios's [Purple A] [1:87:6] fleet hitting someone from his moon [2:303:5]. Beowulf phalanxed the return to arrive two seconds after Karpios's fleet. Spankodon and Karpios sent a bunch of empty threats and lies [Karpios: I left at 80%, your fleet is 20 minutes ahead of mine, Sphenodope: There will be two huge battles in U9]. Then, with less than 45 minutes remaining, Karpios deleted his planet (with level 32/28 mines and a moon with jumpgate and level 7 phalanx). I believe that this resulted in Karpios's fleet disappearing when it returned, and Beowulfs had a battle against no fleet or defenses and took no res, although there was res on the moon.

 

Karpios then changed his name and dropped out of Purple A. Probably so Cheatodon can farm him. Karpios is now Zal. But he is still a BIG CHEATER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN PURPLE A. Ooopsie, must have hit the CAPS LOCK all accidental like. I'll be checking the pillory tomorrow. Maybe we can finally get rid of U9's biggest cheater Spewodork as well.

somehow I thought that you cant delete planet if any fleet going to or from that planet - very strange

The fleet was returning to the moon. But once the planet is destroyed, even thought the moon is physically still there, it no longer belongs to the player so their fleet disappears I think.

then where the fleet wil be back. if fleet is going from the moon, and moon is destroyed, then fleet is coming back to the planet (I think that one where the moon was). if both are gone, wher the fleet wil go?

The point is some intense poor sportsmanship and major soreloseristis.

The fleet I was to hit was 4.4k BS, 1k Bombers, ~350 destroyers, and 99 BC. That spelled quite a pile of profit for me..somewhere in the neighborhood of 90kk-95kk.

First cause most of them "got" the accounts and second cause of their replies in the Board,showing no respect for "older" players.

This is a crazy story. Beo, sad that you didn't get the hit, I know it would have been one of the bright moments of the oof these days. And unbelievable that someone would consider this as an option to escape your crash.

You must really netteled Karios. It's obvious he's scared of your ogame skills, and when he knew he was in a battle with you in which he couldn't win, he tried to sneak out and then get some sort of support by his alliance by staying in the game, changing his name and getting farmed...but even in the oof, his own mates said they would have preferred to see your hit.

I'm glad the truth is spreading.

With what I took from Sphen and the hit on Zal, I'm into the profit zone now

 

Right after this happened, I talked to dElo on IRC upon the recommendation of a few people. He told me to write a ticket. That wasn't what I was expecting, but I did it and am now in limbo. It was moved from the U9 section to the SGO section and answered in a way that suggested the answerer had not thoroughly read what I wrote. So I've replied again and am now once again waiting. I'll make a post when I'm replied to again.
