Here we go: I imagine this thread to be a place where everyone can show off his works and get some constructive critique back. (since I'm not that confident in my art/have not enough I won't claim this thread for myself so feel free to post ) Okay, here are some of ma latest works. Tried a few tutorials (a total of 2 ) and ended up beeing to impatient after the first two or three steps Also most of the really cool effects happen by luck whilst I'm frenetically painting. The guy was well known for his frenetic painting jobs, with spiling cans of paint on the floor, shaking it out, letting the droplets fly... Are you like that Waaah? I wish I could contribute to this thread with paint, but drawings have never taken to my fingers, and I would feel sorry for any sheaf of paper that met it's end while desecrated with any tool wielded by me. I'll let the experts contribute and hope there are more in our community who can post beauties which pleaseth the eyes. Like yours Waaah. I'm just afraid of making their faces gasp in horror after witnessing my own scary attempts and losing community members! . gogo p.s. ahh, If only I had copies of the paint by numbers I massacred as a kid...if only p.s. your new painting, the lips are fantastic....Waaah, are you using oils, acrylics, watercolors? I'm going to echo what Schot likes and say that the first image is my favorite. It's her pose that I like, it's tense and looks like she's capable of something very nasty next. Pen, ink etc - yes, that I like (I've got biiig notebook with songs' texts. Each song has got its own drawing, usually done by ink), but I hate paints. Lol, that ginger girl looks like that main character from Heavenly Sword I like that. Link to comment

Makes for some great flexibility if that's the case. I remember a friend of mine was totally into that whole "cross-hatching" thing...a la comic style I think. The kinds of drawings he was able to tease our of the paper were phenomenal. If you're good with that ball point, you're a drawer on the go ^^ gogo Link to comment
