Ahhh The first time I had those was at a small drive-in restaurant in North Bay Ontario Canada around 1956

And down here in the Florida Keys at the supermarkets now we have them frozen ! I like putting a little mustard on them

ok that is it gogo and schot have to come to new mexico and go eat at corn dog seven with me dang it! All different kinds of corn dogs battered and fried right in front of you omg mmmmm!

Now that's cool. Different kind of corn dogs? What is it that they change...the kind of meat inside? Or is it the type of batter? I've always only had one kind of batter, it's golden and pretty yummy. I'm curious now as to what else there could be that would make for an actual difference. Texture, color, flavor?

Both are changed there are the regular batter, beer batter, and honey batter. As for the meat there are regular hot dogs, polish dogs, sausages (many types) and meats with cheeses in them. MMMM I am hungry now LOL
