Is this a Dragon Mount?!

As said on the SIF I've had a few curiousities running round in my head...

 

Ok, so this has been on my mind ever since the final goodie popped out of the Sacred2.com Advent Calendar on Christmas day.

The Dragon I'm talking about is this one:

Now I'm not sure what it is but when I saw it I kinda thought it doesn't seem all that threatening. Especially with the cutsie tounge flopping around outside of its mouth. That said... Could it be a mount?!

 

Does anyone have any inside info on this? Or am I barking mad, haha. Ummm. No need to answer that last one.

hey I read a interview a few months back (maybe it wasnt a interview but a ''commercial'' thingy)

and there was like

 

''sacred is back... blah blah blah...

with new mounts...(and here I think I remember it said) tigers, ->DRAGONS<-,...

I think there is going to be dragon mounts

 

as fare as I know this was the result of months of "secret" work by the developers

 

but hey what do I know

I have vague recollections of reading something about Dragon mounts but then again I could be wrong too. I like that dragon though so it could be fun if we have him to fly around on, maybe in battle mode he takes on a slightly different look, who knows, time will tell and it's fun to speculate but I am sure we will all be in for some great suprises when it finally comes out.

I"m sure there's going to be one...however...will it be a mount for one of the toons? That's the thing. What if the dragon becomes a mount for a quest?

 

That could perhaps be more likely, as it's so powerful and quite a job to animate. I can see a toon having to ride it when to complete a quest or when a quest is completed and you have to ride somewhere with a lot of drama.

I didnt realize they got pics of my ex for the game!?!?!?! ooo bad joke bad joke... *crowd hisses in anger* but seriously folks, I WANNA RIDE A DRAGON!! PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!! it'd be so cool! fly and spray with fire! (or strangely *****-looking white material if you've seen dragon heart 2.) idk if I can post that word so I'm in the safe end of things... =P

The boss dragons fly sometimes (and leave themselves wide open to getting their butts kicked).

 

 

I've never seen one free roaming though like in that (presumably staged) screen shot.

ahhh - I've not yet played enough to get close and personal with a dragon...

 

But this screenshot is from a series of screenies on gamespot - IIRC there was also one of a seraphim standing on a bridge with a dragon flying past.

 

... so dragons do fly, but not as a source of transport?

I haven't played enough of the game's quests to know if there really is a dragon that lets us fly him. But it would be thrilling to know if this exists in the released game.

Fought and killed all of the free play mode and campaign dragons. Oh yeah, and killed a lot of the poor baby dragons...

 

I prefer the three* friendly ones though. I don't like killing dragons.

 

(Aside from Mer-Kil, you meet another friendly dragon in the Shadow Campaign. And seraphim meets a friendly one over the course of her single player story. I wouldn't be surprised if there are at least 1 or 2 more.)
